ORNAMENT IDEAS FROM OUR STAFF:

We work with a very creative group of people and once in a while one of us surprises the others with very interesting ideas. This time it was Emily who came up with this very cool Santa Clause ornament for our office christmas tree and she wanted to share it with all of our readers. She used materials we had at the office, mostly re-using wire and some bells she had lying around.

Awesome! you too can make amazing ornaments, if not this christmas maybe the next one, all you need is a little bit of creativity and old materials.

You all know we are great supporters of sustainable and recycled materials and the holidays are no different. We decided to find an environmentally conscious product alternative for those who put up some christmas decorations.

The Cardboard Christmas Tree was designed and developed by Cloud Gate Design LLC, a Chicago based design house. The tree uses recycled corrugated cardboard for both the tree and its packaging. In addition, a portion of the profits from the Cardboard Christmas Tree sales are donated to the Arbor Day Foundation's Trees for America program. Through this program, for every one dollar donated one tree will be planted in a damaged forest.

Pretty cool, right? Also, remember to re-use and/or recycle all that wrapping paper from Christmas morning and 'Go Green' this holiday season!

Everybody here at the studio wants to wish you Happy Holidays! We are thrilled about the new year.

If you haven't finished decorating, here are some table and mantle ideas, and clever uses for candles to add a cozy, soft lighting effect. Use candles cleverly but safely by keeping them away from adjacent flammable items and place them in trays or in glass holders.
