Auskin Group. DPS will be designing 2 new patterns in 3 colorways for international distribution this fall. Auskin leads the woolskin market with interests in every aspect of the industry from procurement and product design in New Zealand and Australia to production in China to sales and distribution worldwide. Equally important to us, woolskin procurement of salvaged skins aligns with our mission of sustainability. They select only the highest quality Australian and New Zealand raw materials. Their range of products and manufacturing processes are unchallenged and quality control is a priority at every point of the process.

The CNN Freedom Project: Ending Modern-Day Slavery
This year CNN's Freedom Project will join the fight to end modern-day slavery and shine a spotlight on the horrors of modern-day slavery, amplify the voices of the victims, highlight success stories and help unravel the complicated tangle of criminal enterprises trading in human life. To highlight one success story, CNN paid a visit to GoodWeave’s operations in Nepal. There they visited DPStudio's partner Goodweave's education and rehabilitation programs. They observed factory inspections and interviewed rescued child weavers. Please see video below:
We are proud to be a part of an important initiative with Rug Mark /Goodweave. RugMark is a nonprofit organization working to end exploitative child labor in the hand made rug industry and offer educational opportunities to children in India and Nepal. The RugMark label is an excellent assurance that no illegal child labor was used in the manufacture of a carpet or rug. Furthermore, the water from these remote dye-houses is treated and filtered before entering the environment. Although these rugs travel quite a distance (longer than any other product we offer), they are crafted with great care and promise an heirloom handmade character that will last for decades.
